# The Friendly Societies (Authorisation) Regulations 1994, Introduction: Introductory text


FRIENDLY SOCIETIES
Made 20th July 1994
Laid before Parliament 1st August 1994
Coming into force 1st September 1994
The Friendly Societies Commission, with the consent of the Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred upon it by paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 13 to, and section 121(3) of, the Friendly Societies Act 1992 and of all other powers enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:
