# The Friendly Societies (Group Schemes) Regulations 1993, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations concern group insurance business. Regulation 2 prescribes additional groups of persons in respect of which a friendly society may provide benefits under a group scheme pursuant to section 11 of the Friendly Societies Act 1992.
