  "heading": "Notifications to the Council by post-16 education bodies",
  "text": "(1) The Scottish Ministers may by regulations—\n(a) require post-16 education bodies to notify the Council of matters specified in the regulations,\n(b) specify the form and manner in which notifications are to be made to the Council, including the periods within which the Council is to be notified.\n(2) Before laying a draft of regulations under subsection (1) before the Scottish Parliament, the Scottish Ministers must consult—\n(a) the Council,\n(b) the post-16 education bodies, and\n(c) such other persons as the Scottish Ministers consider appropriate.",
