  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order prescribes the first appointed day for the purposes of section 349 (three-year licensing policy) of the Gambling Act 2005 (“the Act”).\nSection 349 of the Act requires licensing authorities to prepare and publish a licensing policy statement every three years describing the principles they intend to apply in exercising their various functions under the Act.\nThis Order appoints 31st January 2007 as the first day of the initial three year period.",
