# The Gaming Act (Variation of Monetary Limits) (No.2) Order 1994, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order increases in England and Wales the maximum amounts permitted—
(a) to be taken by way of the sale of chances; and
(b) as the aggregate amount or value of prizes,
on any one determination of winners in gaming for prizes at licensed club premises under section 21 of the Gaming Act 1968.
