# The Gaming Act (Variation of Monetary Limits) Order 1999, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order (which extends to England and Wales and Scotland) increases the monetary limits specified in sections 20(3) and (8) and 21(2) of the Gaming Act 1968 (c. 65) and described in articles 2 to 4 of the Order, and revokes previous Orders which are superseded or spent.
