# The Gaming Machines (Maximum Prizes) Regulations 2001, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations increase the maximum amount which may be paid in respect of any one game by a gaming machine on premises licensed under the Gaming Act 1968, other than a bingo club, from £1,000 to £2,000.
