# The Gangmasters (Licensing Conditions) (No.2) (Amendment) Rules 2008, Introduction: Introductory text

The Gangmasters Licensing Authority makes the following Rules in exercise of the powers conferred on them by sections 8 and 25(2) of the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004.
They have consulted with the Secretary of State in accordance with section 8(3) of that Act.
