# The Gas and Electricity (Registers) (Revocation) Order 2013, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 12th July 2013
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(4) and (5) of the Gas Act 1986 and section 49(5) and (6) of the Electricity Act 1989.
