  "text": "The following Schedule shall be substituted for Schedule 1 to the Principal Regulations—\n“SCHEDULE 1\nFEES\nRegulation 5(1) and (10)\n(1)\n(2)\nMeter\nFee\n£\nPrototype (not being a modified prototype) submitted for approval of its pattern and construction of—\n(a) a diaphragm meter\n450.00\n(b) a rotary positive displacement meter\n1050.00\n(c) a turbine meter\n1190.00\n(d) any other kind of meter\n1875.00\nModified prototype so submitted of—\n(a) a diaphragm meter\n90.00\n(b) a rotary positive displacement meter\n210.00\n(c) a turbine meter\n238.00\n(d) any other kind of meter\n375.00\nAny meter (not being a prototype or modified prototype so submitted) with measuring capacity—\n(a) not exceeding 13 cubic metres per hour\n0.92\n(b) exceeding 13 cubic metres per hour but not exceeding 19 cubic metres per hour\n1.45\n(c) exceeding 19 cubic metres per hour but not exceeding 53 cubic metres per hour\n4.36\n(d) exceeding 53 cubic metres per hour but not exceeding 228 cubic metres per hour\n14.56\n(e) exceeding 228 cubic metres per hour\n36.41\nNote\nIn this Schedule—\n(a) “a modified prototype” means a prototype which, prior to modification, has already been examined by a meter examiner;\n(b) “a rotary positive displacement meter” means a meter constructed so that it contains a rotating partition; and\n(c) “a turbine meter” means a meter constructed so that it contains a turbine wheel.”",
