# The Gas (Meters) (Amendment) Regulations 1993, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 21st June 1993
Coming into force 12th July 1993
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 17(1), 17(3) and (8)(b) and (c), 47(4) and 48(1) of the Gas Act 1986 and all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:—
