Regulation 5 Gas Quality Regulations 1983

until the expiry of 31st December 1999, regulation 6 (which requires a public gas supplier to maintain the calorific value of the gas supplied at not less than its declared calorific value) shall have effect as if the words “or kilowatt hours” were inserted after the word “therms”, and

with effect from 1st January 2000, in regulation 6, for the word “therms” there shall be substituted the words “kilowatt hours”.
