# The Gas (Register) Order 1988, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 5th February 1988
Coming into force 1st March 1988
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 36(4) and (5) of the Gas Act 1986() and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:—
