# The Gender Recognition Act 2004 (Commencement) Order 2005, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force on the 4th April 2005 those provisions of the Gender Recognition Act 2004 (c. 7) which are not already in force. Sections 23 to 26, 28 and 29 came into force on Royal Assent.
