# The General Medical Council (Constitution) Amendment Order 1989, Article 2: Amendment of the General Medical Council (Constitution) Order 1979


The General Medical Council (Constitution) Order 1979 shall be amended as follows:–
(1) in article 2(a) there shall be substituted for the number“50” the number“54”;
(2) in article 2(b) there shall be substituted for the number“34” the number“35”; and
(3) with effect from 1st November 1989 in column 1 of the Schedule for“and the Faculty of Community Medicine” there shall be substituted“, the Faculty of Community Medicine and the Faculty of Occupational Medicine.”.
