  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order, made under the Medical Act 1983, amends article 2 of, and the Schedule to, the General Medical Council (Constitution) Order 1979 so as to increase the number of elected members of the Council from 50 to 54, and to provide for an additional member to be appointed by the Faculty of Occupational Medicine.",
