# The General Medical Services Transitional and Consequential Provisions (Wales) Order 2004, Article 2: Entitlement to a general medical services contract


For the purposes of section 176(2) of the Act, the circumstances in which a Local Health Board must enter into a general medical services contract with a person who, on 31st March 2004, is providing services under section 29 of the 1977 Act (general medical services) are those specified in articles 3 to 12.
