The General Osteopathic Council has made the General Osteopathic Council (Continuing Professional Development) (Amendment) Rules 2018, which are set out in the Schedule to this Order, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6(2) and (3), 17 and 35(2) of, and paragraph 15(1) of the Schedule to, the Osteopaths Act 1993f1.
The General Osteopathic Council has consulted in accordance with section 17(3) of that Act.
By virtue of sections 35(1) and 36(1) of the Osteopaths Act 1993, such Rules shall not come into force until approved by order of the Privy Council.
