  "text": "CONSUMER PROTECTION\nMade 30th June 2005\nLaid before Parliament 6th July 2005\nComing into force 1st October 2005\n(except for the reference to a civil partner in regulation 43(2))\nThe reference to a civil partner in regulation 43(2) 5th December 2005\nWhereas the Secretary of State is a Minister designated for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 in relation to measures relating to general product safety;\nNow therefore the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 2(2) of that Act hereby makes the following Regulations:",
