  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations correct a defect in regulation 18 of the Genetically Modified Organisms (Deliberate Release) Regulations 1992 (S. I. 1992/3280). They provide that the advice of the committee appointed under section 124 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 (c. 43) as to applications for consents to release or market genetically modified organisms must be placed on the public register of information kept under section 122 of that Act within fourteen days of it being received by the Secretary of State.",
