  "text": "Provision of the Council Regulation\nSubject Matter\nArticle 4\nFailure by exporter to notify parties and non-parties of import prior to first international transboundary movement of a GMO Intended for deliberate release into the environment and destined for the use specified in accordance with Annex I, point (i) of the Council Regulation;\nFailure to provide in the notification the minimum information, as specified in Annex I to the Council Regulation; and\nFailure to ensure that the information contained in the notification is accurate.\nArticle 6\nFailure to keep for a minimum of 5 years records of notifications under article 4 of the Council Regulation; acknowledgements of receipt of notifications; and decisions of the Party or non-Party of import; and\nFailure to send copies of these documents to the Competent Authority ....\nArticle 7(2)\nFailure to copy to the Secretariat any reminder sent to Parties or non-Parties of import.\nArticle 12(1)\nFailure to ensure that specified information is contained in a document accompanying the GMO; and\nFailure to ensure that this information is transmitted to the importer.\nArticle 12(2)\nFailure to supply the specified supplemental information in relation to GMOs intended for direct use as food or feed or for processing.\nArticle 12(3)\nFailure to supply the specified supplemental information in relation to GMOs intended for contained use.\nArticle 12(4)\nFailure to supply the specified supplemental information in relation to GMOs intended for deliberate release and any other GMOs to which the Council Regulation applies.\nArticle 13\nFailure to notify Parties of the transit of genetically modified organisms through their territory.",
