# The Glasgow Commonwealth Games Act 2008 (Repeal Day) Order 2014, Note: Explanatory note


(This note is not part of the Order)
Section 50 of the Glasgow Commonwealth Games Act 2008 provides for that Act to cease to have effect on the “repeal day”. This Order specifies that the repeal day is 1st January 2015.
