# The Gloucestershire (Coroners' Districts) Order 2006, Introduction: Introductory text

Made 16th February 2006
Laid before Parliament 6th March 2006
Coming into force 1st April 2006
The council of the county of Gloucestershire submitted to the Secretary of State a draft Order in compliance with section 4(2) of the Coroners Act 1988 and the Coroners (Orders as to Districts) Rules 1927 providing for the alteration of coroners' districts in the county of Gloucestershire.
The Secretary of State has made such modifications of the draft as he thinks fit and makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 4(2) of the Coroners' Act 1988.
