  "text": "(1) Subject to paragraph (2)—\n(a) any person who—\n(i) intentionally obstructs a person appointed in accordance with regulation 3(4), or\n(ii) without reasonable cause fails to comply with any requirement made of him by a person appointed in accordance with regulation 3(4),\nin circumstances where that person is acting in pursuance of any of his functions under these Regulations; or\n(b) any person who, in purported compliance with any such requirement as is mentioned in sub-paragraph (a)(ii), intentionally or recklessly furnishes information which is false or misleading in a material particular,\nshall be guilty of an offence.\n(2) Nothing in paragraph (1)(a)(ii) shall be construed as requiring any person to answer any question or give any information if to do so might incriminate him or, in the case of a person who is married or a civil partner, his spouse or civil partner.",
