  "heading": "Regulation 11 (period of validity of goods vehicle test certificate)",
  "text": "For regulation 11 there shall be substituted the following regulation—\n“11 (1) A goods vehicle test certificate issued in the circumstances described in column (2) of an item in the Table below shall be valid for the period described in column (3) of that item.\n(1)\n(2)\n(3)\nItem\nCircumstances\nPeriod of validity\n1.\nVehicle submitted for a first examination during the two month period ending with the appropriate day.\nThe period beginning with the date of issue of the certificate and ending with the first anniversary of the appropriate day.\n2.\nVehicle submitted for a periodical test during the two month period ending with the expiry date of a current goods vehicle test certificate.\nThe period beginning with the date of issue of the certificate and ending with the first anniversary of the expiry date of that certificate.\n3.\nVehicle submitted for a periodical test in circumstances other than those described in items 1 and 2 of this Table.\nThe period beginning with the date of issue of the certificate and ending with the last day of the same calendar month in the following year.\n(2) In this regulation, a reference to the end of a period is a reference to the end of the final day of that period.”",
