# The Goods Vehicles (Plating and Testing) (Amendment) Regulations 1990, Regulation 9


In regulation 44–
(a) in regulation (1)–
(i) for “section 46(1) and (2) of the 1972 Act” there shall be substituted “section 53(1) and (2) of the 1988 Act”;
(ii) in sub-paragraph (e) for “section 42 of the 1972 Act” there shall be substituted “section 44 of the 1988 Act” and
(iii) in sub-paragraph (f) for “a police constable” there shall be substituted “a constable”; and
(b) in paragraph (2) for “section 46(1) and (2) of the 1972 Act” there shall be substituted “section 53(1) and (2) of the 1988 Act”.
