Article 3 Days, time and place of voting

An elector may vote, at a place determined in accordance with paragraph (2), in the poll for the first ordinary election of the Greater London Authority on Thursday 27th April 2000, Friday 28th April 2000 or Saturday 29th April 2000 between the hours of 7 in the morning and 9 at night.

An elector voting in accordance with paragraph (1) whose name appears in the electoral register for an area specified in column (2) of an item in the table in Schedule 1 shall be entitled to vote at the polling station specified in column (3) of the item.

Paragraph (1) has effect notwithstanding the provisions of section 40(1) of the Representation of the People Act 1983^f1.
