Paragraph 47 Procedure at conclusion of local count

(1)

As soon as practicable after the conclusion of the local count (including any re-count), the CRO shall draw up a statement showing—

(a)

the total number of votes cast;

(b)

the total number of votes rejected under rule 44;

(c)

the number of votes given for each registered party by whom a party list was submitted; and

(d)

the number of votes cast for each individual candidate.

(2)

As soon as practicable after completion of the statement, the CRO shall inform the GLRO of its contents.

(3)

As soon as practicable after the GLRO has authorised him to do so, the CRO shall—

(a)

inform such of the candidates and their election agents as are then present of the content of the statements prepared in accordance with rule 44 and paragraph (1) of this rule; and

(b)

give public notice of the contents of those statements.
