Article 9

For the purpose of taking and receiving delivery of declarations of acceptance of the office of councillor of the Greater London Council prior to the first meeting of the Council, the clerk of the London County Council shall be deemed to be and shall act as the clerk to the Greater London Council and the office of the London County Council shall be deemed to be the office of the Greater London Council. Any such declaration so delivered to the clerk of the London County Council shall be transferred by him to the custody of the clerk to the Greater London Council forthwith upon the latter being appointed by the Greater London Council.
