  "text": "(1) This article has effect in consequence of article 6.\n(2) In any enactment (whenever passed or made)—\n(a) any reference to an integrated transport area; or\n(b) any reference which falls to be read as a reference to such an area,\nis to be treated as including a reference to the combined area.\n(3) In any enactment (whenever passed or made)—\n(a) any reference to an integrated transport authority; or\n(b) any reference which falls to be read as a reference to such an authority,\nis to be treated as including a reference to the GMCA.\n(4) Schedule 2 (which amends section 9 of the Transport Act 1968 in consequence of article 6) has effect, but this does not affect the generality of paragraphs (2) and (3).",
