# The Greater Manchester (Light Rapid Transit System) (Eccles Extension) Order 1996, Article 46: Jurisdiction of Rail Users' Consultative Committee


On the opening of the authorised transit system and the other authorised works as a system, or part of a system, of transport for the carriage of passengers, section 56(4) to (6) of the Transport Act 1962 (which relates to the jurisdiction of Rail Users' Consultative Committees) shall have effect in relation to the services and facilities provided upon the system as if for the references to the Board there were substituted references to the undertaker.
