Article 55 Application to and repeal of existing enactments

(1)

The provisions of Part IV of this Order other than article 46 shall apply in relation to the street tramways and tramroads comprised in the light rapid transit system authorised by the Greater Manchester (Light Rapid Transit System) Acts 1988 to 1994 as they apply to the authorised transit system.

(2)

To the extent specified in column (4) of Schedule 10 to this Order, the provisions of the Greater Manchester (Light Rapid Transit System) Acts 1988 to 1994 listed in column (3) of that Schedule shall cease to have effect.

The Greater Manchester (Light Rapid Transit System) Acts 1988 to 1994 are—
