# The Greater Manchester (Light Rapid Transit System) (Modification) Order 1994, Article 2: Substitution of fixed bridge for opening bridge in description of Work No. 1


Notwithstanding that the bridge over the Manchester Ship Canal forming part of Work No.1 of the Greater Manchester (Light Rapid Transit System) Act 1990 is described in section 4 of that Act and referred to in the substituted section deposited for the purposes of that Act as having an opening span, it may be made and maintained with a fixed span.
