  "text": "(This note is not part of the Order)\nThis Order amends the Greater Manchester (Light Rapid Transit System) Act 1990 to enable the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive to construct the tramroad described as Work No.1 in that Act with a bridge having a fixed rather than an opening span over the Manchester Ship Canal.\nThe applicants for the Order are the Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive.",
