# The Greenhouse Gas Emissions Trading Scheme Order 2020, Article 24: Monitoring and reporting of emissions

Extent: E+W+S+N.I.

(1) The Monitoring and Reporting Regulation 2018 has effect for the purpose of the UK ETS, subject to the modifications in Schedule 4 and to Part 4 (see also paragraph 13 of Schedule 7 which makes further modifications in relation to hospitals and small emitters and paragraph 5 of Schedule 8 which makes further modifications in relation to ultra-small emitters).
(2) Paragraph (1) does not apply to the monitoring and reporting of maritime emissions.
