  "heading": "Maritime: failure to comply with condition of emissions monitoring plan",
  "text": "(1) A maritime operator is liable to a civil penalty where the maritime operator fails to comply (or to comply on time) with a condition of an emissions monitoring plan, contrary to paragraph 13(2) of Schedule 2A.\n(2) The civil penalty is—\n(a) £20,000; and\n(b) a daily penalty at a daily rate of £500 for each day that the person fails to comply with the condition, beginning with the day on which the initial notice is given, up to a maximum of £45,000.",
