  "heading": "Maritime operator: failure to report maritime emissions",
  "text": "(1) A maritime operator is liable to a civil penalty where the maritime operator fails to submit (or to submit on time) a verified report of maritime emissions to the regulator, contrary to paragraph 14 of Schedule 2A.\n(2) The civil penalty is—\n(a) £20,000; and\n(a) a daily penalty at a daily rate of £500 for each day that the report is not submitted, beginning with the day on which the initial notice is given, up to a maximum of £45,000.",
