Article 5 Education Action Forum

The Forum may at any time appoint additional members from—

(a)

persons appearing to them to represent the interests of the following categories, up to the number indicated for each category below in brackets—

(i)

parents of children who are registered pupils at zone schools (2);

(ii)

voluntary or comunity organisations working in the area served by the zone schools (3);

(iii)

other educational institutions in the area served by the zone schools (2);

(iv)

businesses working in or contributing to the area served by the zone schools (2);

(b)

persons in the following categories nominated by the organisations listed, up to the number indicated for each category below in brackets—

(i)

headteachers of zone schools nominated by the Greenwich Primary, Secondary and Special Schools Consultative Forums (3);

(ii)

representatives of staff employed in zone schools nominated by the local trade unions (3);

(iii)

representatives of registered pupils aged eleven or over in zone schools nominated by the Greenwich Young People’s Council (2); and

(iv)

persons who are considered by the Forum to have areas of expertise or experience not otherwise represented on the Forum (8).
