# Gun Barrel Proof Act 1868, Section 28: False Declaration a Misdemeanor.


Any Person who falsely or corruptly makes and subscribes such Declaration, knowing the same to be untrue in any material Particular, or knowingly and wilfully acts contrary thereto, shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years.
