# Gun Barrel Proof Act 1868, Section 77: Chairman of Guardians.


So long as the Proof Master is a Guardian he shall be the Chairman of the Guardians, but otherwise the Chairman of the Guardians shall from Time to Time be elected by the Guardians in accordance with the Commissioners Clauses Act 1847.
