Article 5 Constitution of education action zone

The Forum may at any time appoint–

(a)

up to 6 members from persons who appear to represent the interests of head teachers at zone schools;

(b)

up to 6 members from persons who appear to represent the interests of governors at zone schools;

(c)

up to 6 members from persons who appear to represent the interests of parents of pupils at zone schools;

(d)

up to 6 members from persons appearing to them to represent the interests of business in the area served by the zone schools;

(e)

up to 6 members from persons appearing to them to represent the voluntary, community and charitable sectors in the area served by the zone schools;

(f)

one additional member from persons appearing to them to represent the Design Dimension Educational Trust;

(g)

one additional member from persons appearing to them to represent the health sector in the area served by the zone schools;

(h)

one additional member from persons appearing to them to represent the social services department of the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale;

(i)

one additional member from persons appearing to them to represent the West Yorkshire Police force;

(j)

one additional member from persons appearing to them to represent the Calderdale Federation of Professional Teachers' Associations;

(k)

one additional member from persons appearing to them to represent the Calderdale Association for Parents;

(l)

one additional member from persons appearing to them to represent U.N.I.S.O.N.

(m)

one additional member from persons appearing to them to represent The Diocese of Leeds School Commission;

(n)

one additional member from persons appearing to them to represent The Wakefield Diocesan Board of Education;

(o)

one additional member from persons appearing to them to represent The Calderdale and Kirklees Careers Service Partnership;

(p)

one additional member from persons appearing to them to represent The University of Huddersfield;

(q)

one additional member from persons appearing to them to represent The Calderdale Child Care Partnership; and

(r)

up to 6 additional members from persons who appear to them to represent teachers at the zone schools;

(s)

up to 3 members appearing to them to be able to further the objects of the zone.
