# Hallmarking Act 1973, Paragraph 1


A person guilty of an offence under this Act for which no other penalty is specified shall be liable—
(a) on summary conviction, to a fine not exceeding £400; and
(b) on conviction on indictment, to a fine or imprisonment for a term not exceeding two years or both.
