# The Hallmarking (International Convention) (Amendment) Order 1988, Introduction: Introductory text

Coming into force 13th February 1989
The Secretary of State, in exercise of his powers under sections 2(1)(c) and (3), 21(3) and 22(1) of the Hallmarking Act 1973 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
