# The Health Development Agency (Establishment and Constitution) Order 1999, Article 3: Functions of the Agency


Subject to and in accordance with such directions as the Secretary of State may give, the Agency shall perform–
(a) such functions in connection with developing and ensuring high quality public health provision and health promotion, and
(b) such other functions,
as the Secretary of State may direct.
