# The Health Protection (Notification) (Amendment) Regulations 2022, Regulation 2: Amendment of the Health Protection (Notification) Regulations 2010


(1) The Health Protection (Notification) Regulations 2010 are amended as follows.
(2) In Schedule 1 (Notifiable Diseases), at the appropriate place insert—
“
Monkeypox
”.
(3) In Schedule 2 (Causative Agents), at the appropriate place insert—
“
Monkeypox virus
”.
