  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations amend the Heather and Grass etc. (Burning) Regulations 1986 (“the principal Regulations”) in two respects:—\n(1) they extend from 72 hours to 7 days the maximum period for giving written notice of intention to burn heather, grass etc. to all persons with an interest in the land on which the burning is to take place and persons in charge of adjacent land (regulation 5);\n(2) they amend references in the principal Regulations to the London Transport Executive following the replacement of that body by London Regional Transport under the London Regional Transport Act 1984 (regulations 3 and 4).",
