# The Heavy Goods Vehicles (Drivers' Licences) (Amendment) Regulations 1990, Introduction: Introductory text

Laid before Parliament 24th May 1990
Coming into force 18th June 1990
The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 117(1) and (2) and 120 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, and all other enabling powers, and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 195(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:
