  "text": "(This note is not part of the Regulations)\nThese Regulations, which come into force on 1st September 2002, amend the Hemp (Third Country Imports) Regulations 2002 (S.I. 2002/787) (“the principal Regulations”).\nThese Regulations extend the scope of the written representations procedures under regulation 15(2) of the principal Regulations to include the suspension of licences or authorisations for the import into the United Kingdom of hemp from third countries. They also correct a typographical error in regulation 11(6)(b) of the principal Regulations.\nNo Regulatory Impact Assessment has been prepared in respect of these Regulations.",
