In section 41(3) of the Patents Act 1977 (assignment of right in patent)—
(a)
after “Where the Crown” insert “ , United Kingdom Research and Innovation ”,
(b)
for “or, as the case may be, Research Council” substitute “ , United Kingdom Research and Innovation or the Research Council (as the case may be) ”, and
(c)
omit the words from “or the Arts” to the end.
