  "heading": "Suit commenced against Persons executing Act.; General Issue.",
  "text": "Double Costs.\nAnd bee it further enacted That if any Suit shall be commenced against any person for any thing done in pursuance of this Act that in every such case the Action shall be laid in the proper County where the fact was done and not elsewhere and the Defendant may plead the General Issue and give this Act and the special matter in evidence at the Tryal and if it shall soe appeare to be done or that it was not done in the County where the said Suit is commenced that then the Jury shall find for the Defendant and in such case as alsoe if the Plaintiffe shall be non suit or discontinue his Action after the Defendant hath appeared or if upon Demurrer Judgement be given against the Plaintiffe or if upon Tryal a Verdict passe for the Defendant the Defendant shall have his double Costs and the like Remedy for the same as any Defendant hath in any other Case by Law.",
